Which version?

The price and features of the WhiteRIP software vary based on two main factors: the print size of the printer and the type of application for which it is intended.

PRINT SIZE

The first factor is straightforward:

  • if the print width is less than 43 cm, the “Printer Size” category is classified as “SMALL”
  • for widths greater than 43 cm, it is classified as “LARGE.”

PRINT TYPE

The second factor depends on the specific type of application, which typically falls into one of these three main categories, each impacting the construction of the printer and the software’s functionalities:

The software offers specialized features for each type, such as the auto-mirror function for DTF printing or the drying management for UV printing.

There are obviously other categories such as:

In these cases it is possible to use whiterip by selecting the “UV/OTHERS” option.

VERSION NUMBER

The version number of the software (e.g., WhiteRIP 6, WhiteRIP 7, WhiteRIP 8, etc.) indicates an update to the core functionalities, which may include new features, enhanced compatibility with the latest operating systems and printers, and improved performance and quality. This version parameter is not customer-selectable, as we always provide only the latest version available. However, for clients with older versions, we maintain support and offer upgrade options.
