How does the licensing and subscription model work?

Digital subscription products are sold as a usage license that requires a time-period subscription. This licensing e subscription model is for personal or professional use and is non-transferable. You can install the software on multiple devices, but it can only be active on one device at a time. If the subscription is not renewed, access to the software and its add-ons will be automatically lost.

How does Licensing e Subscription renewal work?

To use the software and its add-ons, an active internet connection is necessary for license verification. The software is compatible only with Windows 11 and 10 (32-bit and 64-bit versions). We do not support virtualized environments and recommend against using them.

Can I cancel my subscription?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription’s auto-renewal at any time from your account settings. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current subscription period, and no refunds will be provided for the remaining time.

Can I add and remove subscriptions to the main software and additional addons whenever I want?

Yes, you can manage active subscriptions and deactivate them from your user area. You can also purchase new add-ons whenever you want. If you deactivate a subscription, it will remain valid until the end of the period, after which it will not be renewed, and from that moment, it will no longer be active in your software.

Is it possible to use the same license with two different plotters?

No, you need to buy two licenses and install them on two different PCs, each connected to its own plotter.

Is it possible to install and use the same software license on multiple computers?

Yes, you can install the software on multiple computers, but you cannot use them simultaneously. Usage is limited to one active session at a time.

I changed my printer, what should I do?

If you have simply replaced your printer with an identical one, you do not need to do anything. If you have changed the brand and/or model, you must notify us of this change. If the printer is in the same size category as the previous printer, the subscription will remain unchanged. If it changes, a subscription change will be made with a consequent increase or reduction in price. The same applies if the type (DTF/DTG/UV) changes.

Is it possible to have multiple WhiteRIP installations on the same PC?

No, it is not possible to have multiple installations of WhiteRIP on the same PC.

What happens if I lose access to my email account associated with the subscription?

Write an email to support@whiterip.com with the new email and the one to be replaced. After a verification process of your identity, we will proceed manually to change it.

Can I transfer my license to another user?

Please email support@whiterip.com to inform us about the change of ownership.

Can I upgrade or downgrade my subscription plan?

Yes, it is possible, but you cannot do it directly from the website. You must email sales@whiterip.com, letting us know the change you want to make.

What is the process if I want to pause my subscription temporarily?

No, it is not possible to pause a subscription. Simply cancel your subscription.

How can I change the email address associated with my subscription?

Is there a grace period if my subscription payment fails?

Yes, we allow a grace period of 5 days before deactivating the software.

Is there a trial for add-ons similar to the main software?

No, it is not possible to try the add-ons in the trial version, only in the purchased version. Once purchased, you will have a period of 14 days within which you can request a refund.

My renewal payment was not successful, what should I do?

We will automatically retry the payment, but we recommend checking and possibly replacing your payment method: https://whiterip.com/my-account/payment-methods/.

My subscription payment method is via bank transfer, how can I renew it?

In this case, it is your responsibility to make the renewal transfer at least 5 days before the expiration date and ensure it is done punctually.

Can there be changes to the price or payment interval of the subscription?

Yes, and they will be communicated to you. You can decide to accept or cancel the subscription.

Is there a minimum number of renewals or a minimum subscription period?

No, you can purchase the subscription and use it until the end without renewing. The minimum period is the initial subscription term (one month).
