What are the system requirements and internet connectivity needs?

To use the software and its add-ons, an active internet connection is necessary for license verification. The software is compatible only with Windows 11 and Windows 10 (both 32-bit and 64-bit versions). We do not support virtualized environments and recommend against using them.

What are the minimum PC requirements?

WhiteRIP is compatible with all Windows operating systems. The minimum requirements are as follows:

  • Operating System: Windows 10 or higher
  • CPU: Intel Core i5 / Ryzen 5
  • RAM: 8 GB

Hard Disk Drive (HDD): 100 GB.

Can I use WhiteRIP with my Mac?

No, WhiteRIP is not compatible with Mac.

Is WhiteRIP compatible with all printers?

WhiteRIP works with numerous printers, although certain rare models might not be supported. For compatibility information regarding your specific printer model, please consult the Supported Printers section on our website.

What file formats are supported?

WhiteRIP supports the most common file formats used in digital printing applications, including TIFF, TIF, PSD, PSB, GIF, JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG, WRAW, PT6, and RAW. PDF and AI files can be opened via the PDF Module, which adds the functionality to open PDF files, including multi-page ones.

What if my operating system version is older than Windows 10?

We do not have compatible versions for operating systems older than Windows 10. We recommend updating your operating system.

Are there any plans to develop a version compatible with macOS?

No, there are no plans to develop a macOS-compatible version.

What graphics card or GPU is recommended for optimal performance?

No graphics card is needed for WhiteRIP.

What should I do if my antivirus software flags the installation file?

If your antivirus software flags the installation file, please add the software to the exceptions list in your antivirus settings.
